DC Animated greatness...Hope the live action movies get as good

I thinks its fair to say that on a major motion picture standing that Marvel have got it going over DC movies ....BUT....when it comes to animated movies DC kicks Marvels buttocks regularly (IMHO)
And I know, I own 92.3 %of 'em
Lets start out with my personal fave, the Last son of Krypton, the big blue cheese,

Lets start of with, probably the only one that had the tiniest smidgeon of disappointment in it...

Last son of Krypton
Shunned by Krypton's leaders for his theories of planetary destruction, scientist Jor-El rockets his infant son Kal-El to safety on Earth. There Kal is raised as Clark Kent and develops unusual abilities, moves to a shining Metropolis and meets a fiesty female reporter with a knack for trouble

Braniac Attacks
Embittered by Superman's heroic successes and soaring popularity, Lex Luthor forms a dangerous alliance with the powerful computer/villain Brainiac. Using advanced weaponry and a special strain of Kryptonite harvested from the far reaches of outer space, Luthor specifically redesigns Brainiac to defeat the Man of Steel.

DOOMSDAY
Once again got the book, the bluray & the shirt
this is a modified version of the book that tells the tale Superman’s demise at the hands of Doomsday, one major difference is that the JLA dont have a part in it , which is good for Guy Gardner , cause he got his arse kicked well and truly
Lex Luthor's mining project accidentally unearths an alien spacecraft buried deep beneath the Earth, which contains Doomsday. The monster breaks free and begins rampaging...and Lex bumps off his P.A just in case she blabs
Superman battles Doomsday, and the two kill each other. However, Luthor is able to clone the Man of Steel from his dead body, creating a new Superman that he can control...but not for long as the clone figures out that Lex is just a mongrel after discovering that Luthor has put a krytonite pellet bomb in his head , which he removes with heat vision and the mirror at Lois hair salon...Meanwhile, the real Superman's body is recovered by the Fortress of Solitude robot, and regenerated. Wearing a black solar suit , he returns to take his place as Superman after a battle with the clone

 PUBLIC ENEMIES
Lex Luthor as President of the United States? Despite Lex’s band of government-employed superheroes, Superman and Batman know better than to place their trust in Clark’s arch-enemy, while at the same time trying to prevent a meteorite from hitting the earth.

APOCOLYPSE
The continuing story of Supergirl as Darkseid tries to recruit her to become one of the Female Furies on Apokolips...needless to say the big nasty bludger fails

ALL STAR SUPERMAN
Got the book, shirt and the bluray
After overdosing on solar radiation saving a science crew, a dying Superman celebrates Lois birthday, meets some rather obnoxious relatives, lifts 50 quintillion tons, beats up Samson, Atlas and the Ultra Sphinx and  stops Lex once and for all
Admittedly the book was much better , more characters and what have you  BUT a crackin flick none the less

Superman vs The Elite
Got to say not one of my favourites  BUT Supe's meets some new super heroes when they make their selves known , but,  the Elite  soon get on the bad side of the Man of Steel  when it becomes quite apparent that the don't mind killing to stop crime

Superman: Unbound
Superman and Supergirl  try to stop Brainiac and an ominous fireball from destroying the world. Superman  also battles Brainiac  to save the Krypton city of Kandor, which is among the miniaturized cities held aboard Brainiac's ship.

The Return of Black adam
Superman finds a foe who may be too powerful even for him to defeat in the murderous Black Adam. Fortunately, Black Adam's real target is the Earth's Mightiest Mortal--Captain Marvel.

Gotham Knight
Reminiscent of The Animatrix, Batman: Gotham Knight employs the same Japanese animation style in telling six short stories that further the mythos behind The Bat.  The animated film is supposedly set between Batman Begins (2005) and The Dark Knight (2008), and despite the stand-alone stories in Gotham Knight, all six give audiences a breathtaking look into who Batman really is, especially to those around him.

 Under the Red Hood
When a mysterious vigilante named Red Hood starts popping up in Gotham, it’s up to Batman to investigate. Unfortunately, he only succeeds in opening up old wounds that he thought he’d already forgotten long ago.

 Year One
Based on the comicbook arc of the same name from 1987, Batman: Year One shows the beginnings of Bruce Wayne and Jim Gordon as they try to save Gotham in their own ways—and no, they don’t always see eye-to-eye.

The Dark Knight Returns
, this story chronicles Batman’s retirement days and how, upon his return, the evils of Gotham City resurface with him....no getting away from your loonies huh Bats

Son of Batman
The story of Damian Wayne, who quite frankly annoys the shit out of me, but im old what do i know, ,  as he copes with being a ruthless assassin and the son of a superhero at the same time. it further complicates the relationship between Talia and Batman while throwing Deathstroke into the mix.

Assault on Arkham
Who said the recent Suicide Squad movie was the first look at that crew of reprobates?
This flick has the Suicide Squad, on orders from Amanda Waller,  try to recover a thumbdrive from The Riddler but end up getting involved in something bigger than themselves. It’s the perfect intro for anyone who’s not seen the Squad flick, although I dunno who that would be.

Batman vs. Robin
Batman vs. Robin is a sequel to Son of Batman from 2014. The story focuses on Bruce and Damian’s struggle as father and son, and when the mysterious Talon confronts Robin, our heroes soon discover that there’s more to Gotham’s high society than they know.

 Bad Blood
Bad Blood begins with The Dark Knight missing and Gotham unprotected. Forced to continue what Bruce started, Nightwing and Robin, with the help of a few more members of the family, rise up to the challenge of defending the city while looking for Batman himself.

The Killing Joke
Mark Hamill is back to voice the Clown Prince of Crime! There’s no stopping The Joker as he kidnaps Commissioner Gordon and attempts to drive Batman into madness, proving once and for all that he and The Dark Knight are one and the same.

Trapped In Time
Lex Luthor becomes frozen in ice and wakes up in the 31st century. He learns Superman's true identity, steals an advanced weapon, and travels back in time to finally destroy him.

The New Frontier
If you’re a fan of the old school glory days of Justice League art (back when Superman was in red boyshorts), The New Frontier will not disappoint. Set during the end of World War II, the film details the struggles of the Justice League during the high-tension era of the Cold War as they try to fight off a doomsday cult that threatens the earth.

Crisis on Two Earths
I do love a multi dimensional story and this one is a ripper
What does the League do when a good version of Lex Luthor appears from another earth and asks for their help? In Crisis on Two Earths, our heroes must face the Crime Sydnicate when they becomes a threat to the safety of innocents around the world.

Doom
the Legion of Doom take center stage as each member strikes at their corresponding nemeses from the Justice League, while Vandal Savage plots to wipe out the entire human race and start civilization anew.

The Flashpoint Paradox
As much as I like a multi dimensional story , I enjoy a temporal paradox even more, must be the whovian in me
After thwarting a criminal attempt by the Rogues, the Flash encounters Professor Eobard “Zoom” Thawne (a.k.a. the Reverse-Flash) who taunts him over his mother’s death. When Barry wakes up the next day, he finds that his whole world has changed, mums not dead, the Justice League no longer exists, Superman is in a cell at Area 51 and Flash is speedless . He then enlists the help of Batman (who is Thomas Wayne) to gain his powers and then reverse whatever Zoom did to alter the timeline before it’s too late.

War
The brilliant tale of how the members of the League meet and how they team up for the very first time against the  threat ofDarkseid,

 Throne of Atlantis
Half-Atlantean Arthur Curry begins as a pisshead  and ends as a prince, but the road to royalty is never easy. With the help of the Justice League, he saves the world from disaster, rediscovers his heritage, and claims his throne as Aquaman.

Gods and Monsters
Another deadset ripper of an  alternate universe tale  finds the JLA as a brutal organization that enforces order on the planet by any means necessary. Superman is the son of General Zod, Wonder Woman is a member of the Apokolips royal family, while Batman is a vampire....How goods that

 vs. Teen Titans
Robin screws up a Justice League mission, and a disappointed Batman sends him to work with the Teen Titans. But when Trigon possesses the League, there’s nowhere else to turn—it’s up to the Titans to step up their game and save the world.
Justice League Dark
whoever wrote this was doing some form of something, what a trippy storyline ....Batman and hard-drinking spell-caster John Constantine are putting together a team of magic-sensitive individuals to combat mystically generated threats the Justice League can’t handle, fathom, or bury in the sun. Like swarms of flying, chattering teeth for example.

AND THERE'S YET MORE HEROES

Teen Titans: The Judas Contract
“The Judas Contract” introduces the earth-moving, possibly heroic Terra, and one hell of a revenge plot enacted by vindictive Titans’ baddie, Deathstroke.

Wonder Woman
. When army fighter pilot Steve Travor trespasses on Themyscira, events begin to unfold as an evil war god is unleashed unto the world. Now, Diana must take up the responsibility to prevent the destruction of the entire human race.

First Flight
When pilot Hal Jordan accepts a mysterious, powerful ring from a dying alien creature, it transforms him into a Green Lantern - one of an elite force of heroes. These heroes patrol the universe to ensure peace and justice under the leadership of the Guardians of the Universe. Unsure of their newest recruit, the Guardians assign Hal to their most-honored Green Lantern Sinestro for training, unaware that Sinestro wants to overthrow the Guardians and create a new order he'll control. It's a battle of might and willpower as Hall must prove his worth by defeating Sinestro to save the Green Lantern Corps.

Green Lantern: Emerald Knights
On Oa, the headquarters planet of the intergalactic police force, the Green Lantern Corps, the Guardians of the Universe see alarming evidence that the feared villain, Krona, is coming to destroy the planet. While the Guardians move to evacuate, Green Lantern Hal Jordan helps the unsure new recruit, Arisia, by telling her several stories of fellow Lanterns and the challenges they faced. Through him, we see the adventures of Avra the first Lantern, Princess Laira, Kilowog, the unsociable Mogo and Jordan's immediate predecessor, Abin Sur. When Krona arrives, those stories prove more valuable than anyone expects as Arisia draws a special inspiration from them.

SO....There you go, hope you enjoyed it , if not ...och well
